NAPLES, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Bridgton police have arrested a man they say was involved in a high-speed chase that ended with a crash early Friday morning in Naples.
A deputy traveling on Route 302 in Naples said a car passed him around 2 a.m. going 100 miles-per-hour while driving in the middle of the road.
Police say the suspect, 23-year-old Aaron Tanguay, was arrested in Bridgton for reportedly burglarizing the Bridgton Chamber of Commerce on Portland Road.
Upon further investigation, officers found Tanguay was the suspect in the Friday morning crash in Naples. The suspect has been charged with burglary, theft and criminal trespass and it was discovered he also had an outstanding probation warrant. Aaron was transported to Cumberland County Jail where the Sheriff's Department and Portland Police will also be charging him with various violations related to the stolen car and chase.
