Windsor man arrested for robbing gas station on Thanksgiving, police say

AUGUSTA, Maine (NEWS CENTER) — A man from Windsor is being charged with robbery after police say he walked into a gas station with a handgun and took off with cash. 

35-year-old Anthony Manganella was arrested on Thanksgiving. Police say Manganella robbed the Quick Mart on Western Avenue in Augusta around 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017. 

Shortly after the robbery, an officer spotted Anthony Manganella who fit the description of the robber.

He is being charged with robbery and possession of a fireman by a prohibited person. He is being held at the Kennebec County Jail and bail was set at $25,000.
