Two men face charges in Buxton home invasion

PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Two people have been arrested in connection with an armed home invasion in Buxton last month.

24-year-old Martin Bruneau and 55-year-old Ricky Swazey were arrested at their Congress St. home in Portland late this morning. The road was shut down for a short time while police executed a search warrant.

Buxton Police said the men went to a home on Parker Farm Rd. in Buxton on June 18 and made noise in the driveway until the homeowner came out. Police said Bruneau and Swazey then threatened the homeowner with a rifle, demanding that the person give them $60.

Police said the men told the homeowner that money was owed for a drug debt.

Bruneau and Swazey face armed robbery charges and are being held at the York County Jail.
