Styx, Foreigner buses catch on fire in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, Penn. (NEWS CENTER) -- Two buses being used for the Styx and Foreigner concert tour were badly damaged by a fire Wednesday in a Philadelphia parking lot.

Luckily, the buses were empty at the time and no one was injured. The fire appears to have started in one bus, and then it spread to the one parked next to it.

The cause of the fire has not been confirmed.

Styx tweeted this afternoon about the fire, saying "thank you for all of your tweets and concerns. we are all okay and the buses were not occupied. no one was hurt. see you soon."

According to Bangor's Waterfront Concert Pavilion website, both Styx and Foreigner are still scheduled to play on Saturday.
