58% of those polled picked Barack Obama. 38% favored John McCain. 3% wanted another candidate and 2% were undecided.

The margin of error for this poll is plus or minus 3.8%.

SurveyUSA also says Obama's lead has steadily increased here in maine over the past month. They say on September 24th, Obama had a 5 point lead. On October 21st, that jumped to a 15 point lead. Obama now has a 20 point lead over McCain.

Among Mainers who say they have already voted, Obama leads decisively. Among those who haven't voted yet, the contest is closer, but Obama is still ahead by double digits.
