HOLLIS, Maine (AP) - Police have accused a Maine woman of entering her neighbors' homes when they were away and taking about $5,000 worth of their jewelry.
Police said some of the stolen jewelry, which was mostly gold rings and bracelets, was later found at a pawn shop in Standish, and that she had pawned the items.
Four residents of the Hollis neighborhood reported the missing items in September.
Police said 35-year-old Christina Larrivee would walk around the neighborhood and enter the homes when she knew the residents were gone. Some of the homes were unlocked.
Larrivee was arrested at her home Sunday night.
