LEEDS, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - The Androscoggin County Sheriff's Department says speed and alcohol were likely factors in a deadly crash Sunday morning in the town of Leeds.
It happened around 5:30 AM on Route 106 near Lakeshore Drive.
Sheriff's Deputies say Charles Damren, from the town of Leeds, lost control of the car he was driving. Damren was thrown from the car in the crash.
He died at the scene.
According to Sheriff's Deputies, Damren's license had been suspended and he was driving a borrowed car.
