KENNEBUNK, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Kennebunk Police and The Maine Drug Enforcement Agency have arrested two men for selling heroin in the Kennebunk area.
Officials say 26-year-old Zoran Trajanoski, of 956 Meetinghouse Road, in Wells, and 26-year-old Matthew Danis, of 148 Clearview Drive, of Arundel have under investigation for selling heroin around York county for the past month.
According to police, the investigations involved surveillance and controlled purchases of drugs which led to arrest warrants being issued on September 12, 2013, for both men.
Trajanoski's has been charged with a Class A felony of Aggravated Unlawful Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs. MDEA agents say he sold heroin while in a designated "Safe Zone". He was taken to York County Jail and given a $10,000.00 cash bail.
Danis has been charged with Trafficking in Schedule Z Drugs (Marijuana) and Violation of Bail Conditions. Police say he was transported to the York County Jail and given a $50,000.00 bail. His bail conditions charge came from his alleged sale of marijuana while currently on bail for a pending drug charge from earlier on the year. He had been previously accused of providing heroin to a Kennebunk man, which resulted in his death. Danis had been charged with Aggravated Trafficking in Schedule W Drugs (Heroin) for that separate incident, and had been free on bail while awaiting trial.
