KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The Kennebunkport Historical Society is raising money for a little boy who has become very special to the Bush family.
President H.W. Bush shaved his head when he found out that Patrick, the son of one of his secret service agents, had Leukemia. The Kennebunkport Historical Society donated all of its proceeds Saturday to Patrick. The historical society's museum has an exhibit that displays photographs and memorabilia from the Bush family and chronicles their time in Kennebunkport. When they found out about Patrick, they thought the fundraiser would fit in well with the exhibit.
The historical society raised more than seven hundred dollars for Patrick and his family Saturday.
