SHELBY COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) -- Two teens are recovering from a fiery crash thanks to the quick reaction of one good Samaritan.
Dan Boyer was asleep in his Shelby County, Ohio home when he heard a Jeep crash in his front yard early Thursday morning.
"I ran outside," said Boyer. One boy was outside the Jeep and the other, the driver, was trapped in his seatbelt. The back of the Jeep was on fire."
Boyer rushed back inside his home and retrieved a knife.
"When I got back outside, the fire had spread to the back seats in the Jeep," said Boyer.
