A warm front is going to work its way through our region tonight bringing a round of showers or thunderstorms and then some very sticky air for Thursday. Morning clouds should give way to some hazy sunshine allowing temperatures to reach the low to mid 80s. This coupled with dew points near 70 will make for a very uncomfortable day. A cold front will set off another round of showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon and then stall just off the east coast. Here is where the forecast becomes a bit uncertain. An area of low pressure is expected to form on the front southeast of New Jersey Friday morning. The models don't agree on whether any of the rainfall from the system will reach us during the day. Right now the odds are about 50-50. The front should slowly move eastward over the weekend but the speed at which this takes place is also uncertain.
