BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER)-- A local martial arts school will hold a free "Family Safety Fair" on Saturday that they say will help keep childen safe.
Saturday, April 20th, Campbell's ATA Black Belt Academy will be having an all-day "Family Safety Fair". This is a free event and is open to the public.
The purpose of the fair is to provide safety information in all of the fields below to help young people be safe. Topics include Bullying Prevention, Cyber Safety, Anti-Abduction Concepts, Fire Safety, DNA and Fingerprinting, Iris Scans, Autism Speaks and much more!! Specials and Giveaways all day.

Mr. Greg Mitchell, a career law enforcement officer, Tactical Team member and a Marine Veteran. He will be doing an "Anti-Abduction Concepts" presentation.
Ron Campbell, 3rd degree Black Belt in Taekwondo and school owner, will provide an introduction to the "Olweus Anti-Bulling Program". He is a certified instructor of this program.
Mrs. Shelli Tourtillotte, former Firefighter and EMT in Hampden, former Fire Safety Officer with Bangor Fire Department and now of the Orrington Fire Department, will have a "Fire Safety" presentation.
Autism Speaks will have a display and discuss how Martial Arts has proven to be helpful to those with autism.
The Freemasons will have their Child identification kits available, consisting of fingerprinting, DNA swab and more.
Penobscot County Sheriff's Department will also be provide an Iris scan for all children over the age of 5.
They will be on the premises from 9 am until 1 pm on Saturday April 20th at 33 School Street in Bangor. Children MUST be accompanied by a parent or other adult.
