SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Former Maine legislator Christopher Muse has been arrested after police say he knocked a woman down to the ground, kicked her in the head, and took both her money and cell phone.
Police say that Muse and the woman got into an argument while Friday night. The woman told police that they had known each other years ago and that this was their first meeting since reconnecting online.
Christopher Muse was arrested at his home on Sunday. He had his first court appearance this afternoon and is being held at the Cumberland County Jail.
