Standoff in Howland shuts down Interstate 95

HOWLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - A standoff in Penobscot County has shut down interestate 95 in both directions. State police say a man in a truck in the southbound lanes is holding a gun to his head, threatening to commit suicide.

As a result, the interstate has been shutdown between Lincoln to the south and Howland to the north. We'll have more information on this story as it becomes available.
