BRIDGTON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A ski mountain in Southern Maine is celebrating a big milestone.
Shawnee Peak turns 75 years old this weekend.
The ski resort marked the occasion with a number of events, including the cardboard box races where contestants put together elaborate sleds made from cardboard boxes.
This year the owners of Shawnee Peak also set up what's aptly called the "Big Air Bag," a big soft bag you can land on after catching big air.
Officials at the mountain say, at 75, that makes Shawnee Peak the oldest Mountain under continuous management in the state of Maine.
