SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Christmas is rapidly approaching and once you make those last minute purchases, don't forget that you're not quite done: those packages still need to be wrapped.
If you happen to be at the Maine Mall, the Make A Wish Foundation is there to lend a hand. For a small donation you can have your gifts wrapped, tagged, and adorned with a bow all ready to be put under the tree.
All funds collected stay in maine to help grant the wishes of local children with life-threatening conditions. Many of the volunteers are members of Wish families or Wish recipients themselves, like Haley Craig, who is fighting a brain tumor. Haley, along with her mom, Sabrina, are there to help other kids experience the joy of a wish.
The Maine Chapter of Make a Wish hopes to fulfill the wishes of 75 children this year. With each wish costing an average of $6,000, any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
You can find the "Wrap for a Reason" tables at center court next to Santa, from 10am-7pm through Christmas Eve.
