BIDDEFORD, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- An Arundel man has been arrested by drug agents and state police after authorities found crack cocaine, heroin, and a significant amount of cash stored in his car and house.
Maine State Police spokesperson Steve McCausland says 30-year-old Christopher W. Carbone from Arundel was arrested Friday afternoon in the parking lot of a Biddeford convenience store.
Maine Drug Enforcement Agents and Maine State Police searched Carbone's car and found crack cocaine, and a search of his house found heroin and $3,400 in cash. The street value of the cocaine and heroin was nearly $1,500.
Carbone has been charged with trafficking in crack cocaine. He's also being held for violation of probation for a prior drug conviction of selling Oxycodone.
