KENNEBUNK, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A well-known church in Kennebunk is hoping to help the hungry in southern Maine.
The Wedding Cake House off of Summer Street has opened for tours.
The ten dollar entrance fee will go towards the York County food shelter, which has seen a significant uptick in needs.
In the past 10 years, the shelter has gone from giving out 4,000 boxes of food, to over 24,000 boxes.
Officials at the Wedding Cake House hope to raise $30,000 for the shelter over the next few weeks.
