SCARBOROUGH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Kids in Scarborough got the chance to get behind the wheel of some serious horsepower Sunday.
The 6th annual Touch-A-Truck event was held at the Gateway Shoppes, where kids of all ages got to check out their favorite big rigs up close.
Over 50 trucks were on site, from cranes to fire trucks, even the state police SWAT van! Kids got their turn behind the wheel, while helping raise money for the March of Dimes. For families at the event, the work that the March of Dimes does can't be counted in dollars.
The Southern Maine chapter of the March of Dimes was hoping to raise $20,000 out of Sunday's event.
