WESTBROOK, Maine (NEWS CENTER) - Westbrook Police are investigating a shooting death on Brown Street.
Officers responded to the report of a shooting in a Brown Street Apartment at about 3:30 am.
The twenty-nine-year-old male victim died at the scene after attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful.
Initial indications are that the victim died from an accidental, self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Westbrook Officers and Detectives are still on scene and the incident remains under investigation.
