AUBURN, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A man from Turner has pleaded guilty to murder for shooting his wife last year.
Brian Nichols entered his plea in Androscoggin County Superior Court this morning.
Investigators say this is another case of domestic violence. They say Nichols shot his wife Jane Tetreault because he thought she was having an affair.
Under a plea agreement the most time in prison Nichols can get is 42 years. He will serve at least 25-years. His sentencing is set for May 24th.
