PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- With any Presidential visit you can expect protesters. Members of Occupy Maine set up across the street from the Portland Museum of Art in the Congress Square Park.

Group leaders say they held a soup line for the 99 percent while the President and the one percent are having their dinner.

The event at the Portland Museum was a pricey affair. The exclusive dinner reportedly cost a minimum of $5,000 to attend and some donors forked out up to $30,000 with that money going to the Democratic National Committee.

Organizers of this protest urged participants to bring pots, pans and spoons to make plenty of noise. They were also told to make signs.
