OTISFIELD, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A home in Otisfield was destroyed Thursday afternoon. The fire broke out around 1:45 at 721 Bolsters Mills Road.
The flames in both the log cabin and the attached barn were quite intense. Neighbors reported hearing an explosion when the fire first started.
Nobody was home at the time, and no injuries have been reported.
8 different departments helped battle the fire. The state fire marshal's office is investigating.
