AUGUSTA (NEWS CENTER) -- Leigh Saufley, Maine's chief justice says the judicial branch in the state is already bare bones, and it's about to get worse.
With an estimated four hundred million dollar deficit looming, Governor Baldacci is asking departments to reassess their budgets.
Saufley says there are only two options, reduce the number of people or courthouses. Saufley goes on to say that cutbacks are sure to mean delays with high priority cases getting scheduled and other being left behind.
