BRENTWOOD, N.H. (AP) -- A 30-year-old man is facing charges he dragged a New Hampshire State Police trooper with his car before speeding off.

Jamie Liversidge of Newburyport, Mass., was indicted by a Rockingham County grand jury this week on several felony charges stemming from the Aug. 8 incident on Interstate 95 in Hampton Falls.

The New Hampshire Union Leader says Liversidge provided a trooper a false name and birthday when questioned and then drove off after being told he was under arrest.

Liversidge is due in court to answer the charges within 30 days.
