WOOLWICH (NEWS CENTER) -- A woman from Woolwich is dead after an accident on route 127 in her hometown.  It happened just a mile from her home.

Sagadahoc County Sheriff Joel Merry says Natalie Shove crashed her Hyundai sometime in the early morning hours of Sunday, but the accident wasn't discovered until daylight.

The Sheriff says Shove's car was headed south on 127 when it went off the road and down an embankment.  It flipped several times.  The sheriff says it looks like speed was a contributing factor in the accident.
