PORTLAND (NEWS CENTER)-- Portland police believe speed and alcohol are factors in a head on car crash that killed a young man.
The accident happened around 2:30 Sunday morning. Police say a Ford Mustang driven by 21 year old Yannick Mulongo of Portland cross the center time on Brighton Avenue, where it intersects with Capisic Street.
The Mustang struck a Chevy Impala being driven by Fartun Aden, also of Portland.
Police are not saying if either driver was injured, but they say a passenger in the Mustang, 18 year old Guy Kitoko, died at the scene.
Kitiko was a senior at Deering High School.
Police are looking for anyone who may have witnessed the crash. They are asking you to call the traffic unit at 874-8532 if you saw anything.
