Waterville School Gets Extreme Makeover

WATERVILLE (NEWS CENTER) -- An aging middle school in Watervile got a much need face life thanks to the generousity of dozens of volunteers. 150 Employees from T-Mobile's call center and members of the non-profit organization, City Year descened on the Albert S. Hall school Thursday morning.

They painted murals on the blacktops and throughout the school. They spruced up the playground with new mulch and updated the landscaping. Volunteers raised nearly ten thousand dollars to create a special 'huddle up zone' in the cafeteria for the after school program.

Mark Nolan, the General Manager of T-Mobile's call center in Oakland said the Zone is going to have a brand new flat screen TV, Wii games, game systems, a fusball table and hundreds of new books that the students requested.

The school is one of ten throughout the country that are underoing a makeover for it's after school programs.
