BRUNSWICK (NEWS CENTER) -- The moose stuck on the small island in the Androscoggin River waterfront has moved on. The two year old male moose somehow made landfall on an island just below the FPL energy dam in the town of Brunswick. People who have been monitoring the situation told NEWS CENTER that the moose was able to make it off the island to safety. There had been concern that the young moose might drown. People who live nearby believe he is now safe and sound, somewhere in the woods.
