Stoneham Man Killed In ATV Accident

Police believe it happened some time between 11 p.m. Friday and 2 a.m. Saturday on the Hut Road in Stoneham. They said a passing driver found 51-year old James Mullen of Stoneham on the road, unresponsive. Police believe driver inattention caused Mullen to be ejected from his ATV. He was pronounced dead at the scene. State police are still investigating whether alcohol is a factor in the crash.
