Scarborough Red Storm Football gets a shoutout from Rob and Gordie Gronkowski

Gronk brothers support SHS Red Storm

SCARBOROUGH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) --  Scarborough High School's football team got a pretty special good luck message last week, just before they played in the Regional Finals.

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and his brother Gordie sent a shoutout to head coach Lance Johnson Friday showing their support for SHS Red Storm, which was posted to the Scarborough High School Football Boosters Facebook page Friday.

"Lance, what's up buddy?" Gordie begins in the clip. "It's Gordie Gronk. I'm here with someone you might know. It's Twinkle Toes himself, Rob Gronkowski. We just wanted to say, 'Whats up?' Good luck in the playoffs this week. Let's go baby, Red Storm for life!"

Gronk then offers his support in classic Gronk fashion.

"Wassup Lance? Wassup Red Storm? Good luck in the playoffs. Kick some booty, keep working hard, and get that win! Let's go!"

Coach Johnson told NEWS CENTER, "At Scarborough High we have built a good relationship with Gronk Fitness and have purchased equipment from them for our fitness room. Gordie Gronkowski was nice enough to have Rob make a video for us. Our players were very excited by the video when I surprised them with it last Thursday."

Red Storm will play for the Class A State Championship title Saturday against the Windham Eagles.
