Saco Police Dept. needs your help identifying a suspect who robbed Cumberland Farms

   On Monday September 19, 2016 @ 11:36 pm the Saco Police Department responded to a reported theft at the Cumberland Farms convenience store located at 535 Main St.  Employees reported that a male subject entered the store and approached the checkout counter to make a purchase.  When the clerk was cashing the subject out and the cash draw opened the subject reached across the counter grabbing cash from the register draw.  The subject fled from the store with an undisclosed amount of currency.  

  The suspect then got into a waiting vehicle which fled the parking lot last seen heading towards Old Orchard Beach on the Ocean Park Road.
  The suspect is described as being a Caucasian male 5’09”–5’11” tall with a thin build, having short brown hair, wearing a white t-shirt, jeans and black sneakers.
  Deputy Chief Corey Huntress is asking that anyone who may recognize the suspect or was in the area of business at the time of the theft who may have seen the suspect or his vehicle contact the Saco Police Department at 282-8216.
