Red Cross helping two people displaced by Palmyra home fire

PALMYRA, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The Red Cross is helping two people after a fire destroyed their home in Palmyra Sunday.

A local Red Cross Disaster Action Team member says they will provide the victims with a safe place to sleep, food and essentials after a fire on Warren Street left them homeless. 

The Red Cross will also provide financial assistance and help them get back on their feet.
The Red Cross provides food, clothing, shelter and emotional support for those affected by home fires and other disasters. Individuals wishing to support Red Cross Disaster Services can call (800) RED-CROSS or visit www.MaineRedCross.org.
