Portland cops rescue duckling from sewer

PORTLAND, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- A small duckling is safe after falling into a sewer in Portland Monday.

In a Facebook post, police say Kelly Watters went head-first into the sewer near 332 St. John Street to rescue the baby duck.

The mother duck and other ducklings were scared off, but the rescued duck will be sent to a wildlife rehabilitator.
