Police discover 104th meth lab of the year

HALLOWELL, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Officials say Hallowell police discovered Maine's 104th meth lab for the year Wednesday night.

A spokesperson for Maine Department of Public Safety says local officials discovered the lab at the Spring Street home overnight.

36-year-old Christopher Kessell was arrested by Maine DEA on trafficking in methamphetamine charges.

McCausland said agents found 'substantial' amounts of meth and the ingredients to make meth.

Officials say this is Maine's 104th meth lab in 2016. 56 were discovered in all of 2015.
