Police charge man in Fryeburg car burglaries

FRYEBURG, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Fryeburg Police said they have a charged a man with the recent car burglaries over the July 4 weekend in Fryeburg. Cameron C. Henry, 20, has been charged with with 16 counts of burglary of a motor vehicle (Class D).

Officers said they have recovered some of the stolen electronics taken from the vehicles and will be contacting the owners. Police said Henry has taken responsibility for the crimes and is cooperating with Fryeburg investigators. Henry was released from the Oxford County Jail with bail conditions after his initial court appearance on July 7.

Henry was recently charged with burglary after he allegedly stole alcohol from the Jockey Cap store and led an officer on a several mile chase.
