Police charge 3 men after armed robbery at Augusta home

AUGUSTA, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Augusta Police are currently investigating a robbery after responding to a disturbance call on Mt. Vernon Avenue.

Police say that a robbery occurred involving more than one victim and multiple suspects.

After getting descriptions of the suspects, they were stopped in Gardiner by the Fire Marshalls Office and the Gardiner Police.

After completing an investigation, police have charged three people in connection with the incident.

25-year-old Zachary Monahan of Thompson, Connecticut and 29-year-old Robert Dejesus of West Gardiner were both charged with criminal threaten with a dangerous weapon, assault, and burglary. 24-year-old Joshua Krajewski of Augusta was charged with criminal threaten with a dangerous weapon, assault, burglary, and outstanding arrest warrants.

All three are being transferred to the Kennebec County Jail.
