Police arrest two men after string of burglaries

PLYMOUTH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Two men have been charged with burglary after both were found in a homeowner's barn in Plymouth.

James Field of Pittsfield and Jacob Graham of Hartland, were arrested Tuesday after a K-9 unit tracked them down in the woods near the property they were discovered on.

According to State Police, Field and Graham are also responsible for five other burglaries that took place in Pittsfield, Me., St. Albans, Me., and Harmony, Me. No one was home during the burglaries.

State Police recovered a variety of household items after the arrest, including a TV, an ice augur, electronics, work boots, and collectible items.

Both men were taken to the Penobscot County Jail in Bangor and have been released on bail.
