OOB police find meth lab inside vehicle

OLD ORCHARD BEACH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) — Police in Old Orchard Beach discovered a meth inside a vehicle on Milliken Street on Friday.

According to Dept. of Public Safety spokesman Stephen McCausland, the lab inside the vehicle was located in the same location where fugitive Jacob Hastings was located on Thursday.

Hastings, a member of a white supremacist group, was wanted on outstanding warrants and was arrested following a foot pursuit in the downtown.

This was the state's 98th meth lab incident this year.

Members of the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency's meth lab team are still on scene, along with Old Orchard Beach PD, FD and the Dept. of Environmental protection.
