MDOT projects beginning Monday, July 14

(NEWS CENTER) -- It's that time of year - construction season. Here are projects that all start on Monday, July 14:

Falmouth - Leighton Road will have a final layer of pavement applied on July 14 from 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. The location is on Leighton Rd. between the intersection of Gray Road and Falmouth Road. There will be one way traffic only allowed while the project finishes up. Motorists are advised to allow for extra time if traveling through the area or seek an alternate route.

Sebago - Route 107 will be closed for five to nine days (weather depending) for a culvert replacement project. The road closure is on Rt. 107 near Convene Road northbound, and Rt. 107 southbound will be fully closed starting at Mill Pond Circle. The DOT is spending approximately $150,000 for the project.

Saco - The paving and milling project continues on I-195 in Saco and there are ramp closures scheduled throughout Monday evening & into early Tuesday morning. The Exit 1 eastbound off-ramp to Industrial Park Road will be closed from 9 P.M. to 11 P.M. The Exit 1 westbound ramp to Industrial Park Road onto I-295 will be closed from 11 P.M. to 1 A.M. The Exit 2A eastbound off-ramp onto Route 1 south will be closed from 1 A.M. to 3 A.M. And finally, the Exit 2B eastbound off-ramp onto Route 1 north will be closed from 3 A.M. to 5 A.M.
