Fryeburg man facing felony drug charges after routine bail check

(NEWS CENTER) --- A man from Fryeburg is facing felony drug charges after police conducted a routine bail check and allegedly found more than four pounds of marijuana, dangerous knives, hashish oil and drug paraphernalia inside the home of Corey Warren.

Warren was charged with "the possession or distribution of dangerous knives," "cultivating marijuana," "the sale and use of drug paraphernalia," and three other charges.

The routine bail check occurred because Warren was charged with felony drug possession in November.

"Between November and March we have seized over 12 pounds of marijuana and an assortment of other drugs which has an estimated street value of over $20,000.00."

"Although we hold drug offenders accountable we also recognize the addictive element and destructive hold most drugs have on its users and their families. Along with criminal charges my officers are encouraged to make the appropriate drug addiction referrals whenever it's appropriate to do so," said Chief Joshua Potvin.
