Fatal tractor-trailer crash shuts down major road in Hollis, Maine

Tractor trailer crash hits power lines

HOLLIS, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Police say a fatal tractor-trailer crash shut down Killick Pond Road and Poland Spring Water plant in Hollis, Friday.

Maine State Police say a truck driver had just left the Poland Spring Water plant when he swerved off the road and hit a telephone pole.

Only one tractor was involved in the accident and the victim's identity is not being released by police, at this time.

Killick Pond Road is expected to open at approximately 8:15 a.m. Friday.
