Buxton Police make April assault arrests

BUXTON, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The Buxton Police Department arrested two of three people Thursday suspected in a home assault and robbery.

On April 11, Buxton Police said a woman walked in on three burglars in her home on Callahan Street.The burglars then allegedly tied up the homeowner, stole money, and left the scene. Medical officials took the homeowner to the hospital.

On Thursday, May 15, police arrested Stacy Day, 35, and Gregory Hoar, 29. Both are charged with one count of Class A Robbery and two counts of Class B Aggravated Assault. They are at the York County Jail on a $20,000 cash bond each.

Police have a warrant for the third suspect, Michael C. Crockett Jr. 30. He is facing the same charges as Day and Hoar.
