Kohl's in Biddeford temporarily closed due to 'serious sag' in roof

*UPDATE 2/17 1p – Kohl's in Biddeford has reopened.

BIDDEFORD, Maine (NEWS CENTER) — Kohl's in Biddeford closed until further notice Thursday due to a "serious sag" in the roof.

According to the Biddeford Fire Department, the roof has been compromised at the department store off Alfred Street, caused by heavy snow.

Fire officials say it is not a total collapse, but the store will be closed until the roof can be repaired.

Less than two years ago, the building was reopened following months of renovations.
