UPDATE: Maine Police Spokesperson says vehicle associated with the Biddeford death located. Driver interviewed, released. Police awaiting autopsy results.
UPDATE: Police have identified the victim in the fatal hit-and-run as Matthew Perry of Biddeford. They say he was run over by a truck after an argument in the parking lot.
Investigators are reviewing surveillance tapes but are looking for a dark-colored 4-door Chevy or GMC pickup. They say the truck has a toolbox in the back and some sort of lumber or PVC pipes hanging from the back.
Perry is known to police and they say they've had "a lot of dealings with him in the past." He was dropped off at a hospital this morning. The reason is not yet known.
An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow.
BIDDEFORD, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The Biddeford Police Department has confirmed a pedestrian was hit and killed by a car Monday.
The incident happened right off Rt. 111 in the parking lot of Play It Again Sports on Alfred Street. Police say it may not have been an accident and are investigating.
The incident happened sometime between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
