Belfast Police investigate pool incident

BELFAST, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Belfast Police said they are looking for a man who attempted to abduct young boy from the Belfast City Pool.

Police said the incident happened August 14 at 10:30 a.m. when the boy and his babysitter were at the pool. The adult male allegedly convinced the young boy to follow him from the pool area, past the playground and toward the park's wooded area. The babysitter noticed what was happening and stopped the young boy from going any further. The babysitter took a photo of the man.
