Bath Police searching for man who attempted burglary

BATH, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Bath Police are searching for a man who was attempting to burglarize a home on Whiskeag Road Thursday, July 24.

Police say a home owner walked into his home to find the male suspect inside. The suspect ran away on foot.

The Bath Police K9 team attempted to track the suspect after the incident. A short time later, police received information that the suspect was on the New Meadows Road. Another track was attempted but the team did not locate him.

The suspect is described as a male in his late 20's or early 30's, thin, and was wearing an oversized hooded gray sweatshirt, baggy khaki shorts, and a baseball hat.
