Police investigating break-in with stolen firearms at a Bangor Pawn Shop

Bangor pawn shop burglary involves firearms, again.

BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- Police in Bangor are investigating a break-in at a pawn shop Wednesday morning. 

The owner of J.G Pawn Shop says as many as 20 firearms were stolen. He says this is the second break-in in less than a month.  He had a break in around 2 weeks ago, where 5 handguns  were stolen.  The owner was alerted to the break-in by police around 3:15 a.m. Wednesday morning. 

The mobile investigation unit just arrived on the scene here on Center St .in Bangor.

Owner says in 4.5 years of being open they have never had break-ins until recently.
