BANGOR, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- United Cerebral Palsy of Maine sold 100 homemade pies in a little more than 2 hours on Wednesday.
UCP operated a stand at the Airport Mall in Bangor on Wednesday to raise money for the non-profits many programs.
All the pies were made by UCP employees or donated by Governor’s Restaurant, Frank’s Bakery and United Technology Center in Bangor.
Andrew Lohman from UCP says this annual fundraiser is ‘super’ important to help continue the services that they offer which include four residential homes, early childhood education programs, and rehabilitation and community support services.
Lohman expects to raise over 1500 dollars from the pie sales and other donations.
