5-year-old Hartford boy found after 5-hour search

HARTFORD, Maine (NEWS CENTER) -- The Maine Warden Service is checking out a 5-year-old boy who was missing from his home in Hartford for more than 5 hours tonight.

The Oxford County Sheriff's department says the boy, Demetrious Chase Landers, wandered away from his family's home on Main Street around 4:30 Thursday afternoon. He goes by the name Chase.

The Sheriff's department, State Police and the Warden Service all joined in the search for him, and he was found, not far from home, around 10 p.m.

We're told he was being checked for possible hypothermia but was otherwise OK.
